Post-party-mortem

Today is the day. July 4th, the day where the party of our course is held, the party that I have hesitated for some time whether to sign myself up or not – well I did end up attending anyway.

Honestly if you ask me how I feel about this party, it is of mixed feelings, very complicated emotions. I mean, yes they are my university friends, but I have only been with them for a brief two years – being a student like an exchange student.

I have always thought that I am pretty much well blended in this surrounding, but well, it all shows today I guess: from the surface layer I am all friendly with everyone, but well deep inside I guess there is still this one thin layer, untouchable, unseeable, but you could just feel it there, like you can feel they are not exactly opening up to you, which makes me sad: how come my university ended up like this, when my friends treat me as hi bye friend, lmao. It’s sarcastic when they’re all teary-eyed or worse, some had emotional breakdowns just now and I was just standing there awkward, not knowing what to do, not knowing who to talk to. Was awkward indeed.

It makes me think, am I not giving enough? Perhaps, I might have not shown enough of myself to people, that might be the reason why there’s still this barrier around me and people. It’s understandable that people have circles of their own in university, but do these circles really matter?

It is puzzling to me, that why do people form circles? Can everyone not be friends? What is the significance of this inclusivity? Thinking back about inclusivity, it brought me straight back to high school, when I used to think that I am a member of this group of people, but turns out they just think of me as extra! It was tough for me in high school, not having a group of close friends when people are going out in clusters.

It’s a bit sad when I am watching hot-blooded movies about the angsty teenage years when they are either in agony because of love or having a blast with their best friends in high school, ironically, both, are things that I happen to not own. True, I used to blame my mother for that, for turning me into this monster: constantly craving for attention, hungry for people’s approval, why do I have to live so uglily? When can the purpose of my live be entirely for myself? It gets really tiring having to constantly seek for a sense of belonging.

That is the time when I come to college and I decided that everything has got to change, I have to make some friends that are life-long. Don’t get me wrong, my friends are all good, it’s just me that’s wrong, something might be wrong with me. I never find the feeling of being owned in any of my friend groups, forever like an outcast, an extra wherever I go.

When I got to college, I desperately tried to approach everyone I see in my class. Yes, I am the guy who is able to mingle freely amongst all “friend groups”. Definitely, I can talk with them without feeling awkward, but does it cure me of the hollow feeling in the middle? Nope. Why is it that is so weird with me? I don’t really understand these feelings, all mixed up like, like straws in glue.

That’s a brief story of whatever has happened to me that shaped me into my weird personality I guess. I believe I am still constantly seeking for a feeling of being owned, into a group where I truly fit in. If you happen to feel the same, fret not ‘cause you’re not the only one. It just takes time to clear things up.

N I N T H – An Affair With Seafood!

This short getaway to Tanjung Karang happened several weeks ago, on a Sunday.

So what had been going on is that my relatives invited us to join them for a seafood fiesta, and we were of course, very willing to join in HAHA.

So where exactly is Tajung Karang? It’s actually somewhere near my house (not really), and it takes about an hour (?) or more to reach there from Kapar and it was a beautiful place, especially the sunsets over there – with salty sea breeze and the fresh sea smell, and of course, some litters that were left behind by human beings.

BANNER
How it looks like from the outside.

It took us quite a while to get here, and it was really a bumpy ride as well. It seemed to me that my aunt had already made a booking of the dishes that we were going to eat in advance with her friend. Thus, the dishes got served very quickly after we got seated.

GLASSNOODLE
Fried rice noodle with crabs

The first dish served, fried rice noodle with crabs. The portion was pretty big as we have almost fifteen person along. To put it into words, the rice noodle was fried till slightly brownish gold. Every single bite into the rice noodles will make your tongue tingle, and every munch just bursts with fragrance of the spices. The crab too, tasted really fresh. Aside from the taste of the crab meat itself, the aroma of the spices were also soaked into the flesh of the crab as well, making it double the tastiness.

STINGRAY
Braised stingray in Asam style

I don’t really eat stingray, more like never. I’ve never actually tasted a stingray before, ’cause it feels a bit unpleasing to eat these so-called “fish” that’s flat and, well you know.  *eek* I’ve never tried them out before and and I can’t believe I had to do it for this entry whelp. Howwwever, tt’s not as slimy and eeky and gooey as I imagined it would be like. On the contrary, it tasted pretty good! The texture of the meat was pretty smooth; slightly more tender and yet, firmer than how normal fishes usually taste like. Taste wise, as its name suggested, it was slightly spicy but more on the sourish side. The gravy of the dish tastes especially good, and it went along very well with rice 😂

FISH
Pan-fried fish with salted black beans

Honestly, I have to plead guilty that they called it shark, but I don’t think this is a shark kind of shark. Probably some species of fish that they called it shark. Well this “shark meat’s” (as to what they call it 😂) texture and biting was slightly different when compared to usual fishes as well – they were definitely firmer and more chewy, but after a few bite you can feel it easily sliding off into your throat – smooth. The dish was fried together with some coriander and chive leaves, which left clear and distinct aroma in it, but haters gonna hate, it was pretty fine even for me. 💁🏻💁🏻

SHRIMP
Baked shrimp in salt

Ahhh. Shrimps. I love eating shrimps and prawns! Really! Especially those that were cooked shell less. HAHA. Very sadly, these prawns were served with shells, which caused a lot more work for me *sigh* One thing that I like about how they cook shrimps is that they will add some chopped chilis on top of the shrimps after they were done being fried. It further enhances the fragrance of the shrimps’ freshness while adding a mild hint of spiciness into the shrimps. Well duh, of course their shrimps are fresh, the sea is just right next to them 😂

PRAWNS
Steamed mantis shrimp

Moving on to the mantis shrimp! Mantis shrimps are just larger versions of normal shrimps, with a more or less similar texture. They are very much chewier and their shells are a lot more difficult to peel 😵😵 But nonetheless, they were worth all the hard work of skinning the shells – they tasted literally just out of the sea. Being a steamed cuisine, it would not have a lot of spice tastes, which directly puts the freshness and taste of the ingredient under spotlight. Very luckily, they did a pretty great job and it passed my judging line.

CLAM
Steamed clam with ginger slices

Clams! Not really a fan of clams, ’cause bit on sand in clams once, and I don’t really like it afterwards. Not really a pleasant experience, but it never did stop me for going all out for my blog. HAHA. Okay, so to keep things simple, the first thing that instantly caught my attention is the fragrance of the whole soup, then only the clams. The soup itself was in a translucent, creamy colour – which is caused by the usage of wine and other ingredients. The soup tasted of the sea, where it feels entirely fresh and salty with slightly prickly feel brought by the ginger slices. The clams themselves were definitely chewy. They also didn’t stink, like how the unfresh clams would have a weird stench.

Oh my god. These two are what I have been looking forward for the whole meal. No matter how full I am, there’ll always be spaces for crabs and buns 😂. The crabs were cooked in sweet and sour sauce, which was the style to cook crabs that I favour since young. The combination of the deep-fried bun (馒头 mántou) with the gravy of the crab is just heavenly. Just imagine the bun that shone in a golden-brown dipped into the gravy that just smells nice and sugary, alongside with the creamy and buttery crab roe. Hou la la, isn’t it the best  way to end a very heavy meal HAHAHAHA

RATINGS

Food: 7/10
The food here were pretty decent, I don’t see where they have obvious major flaws that could be spotted. The ingredients were fresh and the food were well-cooked. I had a great time dining in here ahaha.

Price: –
Sorry to say but I don’t have a single idea about the price thing HAHAHA I’m not the one paying and I didn’t ask about it sorry 😂😂😂😂😂

Service: 6/10
We came to this restaurant as my aunt’s friend knows the owner here. So they treated us pretty good and even gave us free bottles of cokes HAHA. Perks of knowing a restaurant owner *wink wink*

Ambience: 4/10
Well, it’s somewhere away from the city. You can even call it a rural place if you want to. It’s not supposed to be for candlelight dinners and stuff. Don’t come here an expect for ambiences and stuff. Just go for the food, it wont disappoint you (I guess??)

**EXTRA NOTE
-This restaurant is NOT halal.
-It takes quite a while to travel to, and it really is a bit difficult to find.
-If you’re going for the seafood, you might need to have bookings in advance.

UNCLE CONTEMPLATING LIFE
Some random strangers, but the uncle looked as if he was contemplating life tho HAHAH

E I G H T H- Stop in the name of Comma!

This cafe visit happened exactly one month and several days ago, which makes it a pretty old blog entry. Apologies for the recycling of an old post 😂😂

Anyways. This happened on the day when we were shooting for the first assignment of Video Production (oh my, that’s a long time ago *chuckles*), which by the way, my team consists of me, YeeYond, Jason, KV, Terry and CheeYoong. After we wrapped up the scenes that were supposed to be taken at Setia Alam, we came with the decision to go for a lunch.

I immediately suggested to have our lunch over this cafe as it has been around for ages (since June 2014), but I never get the chance to visit it. I suppose that Comma Cafe had been really famous among Klangites for being an all-round cafe who serves a wide-array of food and beverages, but shame on me, I can’t believe I’ve never tried it out!  There, finally *yayzers* (kudos to YeeYond for introducing it to me 🙊🙊)

This cafe is located at the second floor, and is pretty easy to locate – if you’ve been here before. It’s located on top of a 7-11 (if I’ve not mistaken???). Once I pushed open the door, I was amazed by the crowd – despite being a Friday afternoon, it was still pretty crowded over there.

CUTE LIL STUFF
Ngaww husky!

So basically, I loved the ambience over there as it feels really comfortable alongside with the aromatic scent of food and coffee mixed together, fleeting in the air.

KIDS WONDERLAND
Children’s heaven ohoho.

One thing that I find what Comma Cafe had done and is pretty thoughtful is that they actually prepared a space for parents to let their children play around at. Besides that, they have shelves filled with piles of books – guess that they’re trying to encourage people to read again? You can find books of a wide genre over here: from comics to magazines; novels to fictions. A boon for book lover like me *chuckles*

We’ve each placed our orders for our desired food and once again, I apologize for leaving out the menu. Quite worn out that day and I totally forgotten that I had to snap a picture of the menu. Oh well, there were five of us and we ordered for three Aglio Olio pasta with bacon strips, one Carbonara pasta with meat balls, a nice cup of hot Latte as well as a cup of iced chocolate. That’s about it, I guess?

MEATBALL 3
God, my stomach is rumbling right now

This one is mine, but it didn’t arrive so early. I can subtly remember how hungry I am at that moment – the feeling when your tummy is entirely empty and the gastric juice is digesting your stomach. 🤦 Basically, I had to overcome my desire to throw away the camera (which is not mine) and dig in immediately as soon as it was served, and I’m so glad that I’m still able to take a pretty decent picture.

To keep things short, the advantage of Comma Cafe’s pasta over other cafe is that they actually have a pretty thick and creamy, but it didn’t reach the point where it gets cloyingly disgusting. It steams with the thick fragrance of herbs and of course, cheese! Come on, who doesn’t like cheese? You can see sprinkles of crushed herb flakes scattered on top of the noodle, which further enhanced the taste and aroma to the pasta, stimulating your deepest famine towards it. The texture of the pasta itself isn’t really jaw-dropping, which it hangs between the passing line – where it’s not soggy, but it’s no extra chewy at the same time. The meatballs, the highlight of the whole dish – slightly disappoints me as I expected more. As you can see, the meatballs shone in a brownish gold, but its texture wasn’t that satisfying as it was slightly loose. I was expecting a more firm and sturdy texture.

LATTE
Latte and p/c to Terry hehe.

ME
Credits to Jason for taking this picture huehuehue.

Latte. Ahhh. To be honest, this is my very first cup of caffeinated drink that has coffee art on it. Well, a proper one. I guess. HAHA. I’m not really picky of the coffee that I drink, as I like my coffee sweetened with the power of sugar, spice and everything nice. And creamer. They call me weak but bah whatever 😂😂. So to put into words, their latte was pretty decent – a layer of creamy foam on top of the steamed milk and coffee underneath. The coffee has a crisp bitterness, with a smooth aftertaste. The coffee body, on the other hand, was thick and heavy, which flows in my mouth with its smooth bitterness, leaving just traces of coffee aroma left behind.

BACON STRIP
Sorry for the blurry picture, ’cause I had to stretch my arms to take this picture HAHA.

So this isn’t mine. I think it’s Terry’s pasta? Can’t really recall to it.

“They used to cut their bacon into bits before before frying them. I don’t know why they don’t do it today and they serve bacon strip,” said Yee Yond, an eighteen year old girl which ordered this dish as well. HAHAH.

I got to get a taste a little of it and honestly, for some reason, I always prefer pasta in Carbonara style compared to Aglio Olio. It’s probably my personal taste, but I still enjoy tasting this dish pretty much. It’s mildly prickly with the aroma of spices and garlic and pepper and oil bursting in your mouth as you dig in to it. It tasted pretty well all-round, but nothing spectacular that was worth to be mentioned. maybe ’cause I’m not eating it??? HAHA

HOT CHOCOLATE

Holy mother of chocolate, this cup of goodness is my all time favourite (well I mean I loved chocolate drinks, this is really my first visit okay haha). I mean, who doesn’t like a nice cup of ice cold chocolate on such a bone-melting weather? Although it’s not mine (it’s Terry’s as well *covers face*) , I personally liked it a lot, just because it’s chocolate 😂😂. It’s thick, it’s creamy, it’s chocolatey; it’s basically everything you can find in chocolate drinks. Yum.

RATINGS

Food: 7/10
To be honest, they have quite vary of food choices over here, and a lot of them are certainly unique and gimmicky. There are quite a lot of other food that I would like to try and, and I’ll definitely come back for their menu that is considerably special.

Price: 5/10
Your usual cafe price. The food here ranges around 13-30 depending on what you are ordering. If you’ve decided to indulge yourself in pastas and noodles like us, you can go for the bacon and stuff ’cause they’re probably the cheapest food you can get over here. However, their prices are reasonable considering the food quality and portion and all.

Service: 6/10
Hmm, it’s really a shame that they left out a pizza that we’ve ordered earlier, which we had to cancel it off due to the lack of time (we’re still on an assignment HAHA). They don’t mean it but still, sigh. Nevertheless, it’s during peak hour, I guess? That’s why everyone seems so busy around. I don’t blame them, but maybe they can hire more workers or something?

Ambience: 8/10
I’m giving it a whopping eight over ten as the ambience here is really, really good. They have various seats and spots where you can take really hipster pictures at. They are thoughtful enough to prepare a little space for your kids to play around with toys and stuff. They have soft plushies to make you feel at home. The placements, the furniture, I loved everything in this cafe.

**EXTRA NOTE
-This is not a halal cafe.
-The food varies for everyone as you can custom order your food portion/ spiciness etc. as long as you talked to the waiter/ess that served you.
-It’ll be quite packed during peak hours, so you should really avoid it for food quality wise and for the sake of your stomach 😂.
-You can ask for wifi but I’m not sure if it’s working??
honestly i’ve totally forgotten to jot down the price and take a picture of menu pls dont kill me.

T H E V I I – When Eastern clashes with Western

Before I begin with today’s blog, there will be two choices for you to choose, whether you wanna go for a main course, or the usual – dessert:-

  1. Main Course (Ichiban Ramen)
  2. Dessert (Llao Llao)

Ichiban Ramen

AMBIENCE 5
Oh my God uncle stop staring at me please.

After playing for the whole day, we were really worn out and of course, starving at the same time. Thus, Jessica suggested us to come to this restaurant for our lunch – and to fix her cravings for this famous Japanese Food – ramen. This place is called Ichiban Ramen, which is translated from Japanese – ramen so good that it is at the rank of number one. It is called Ichiban “Ramen” but they serve rice as well, don’t worry 😂

So basically, that’s how it looks like from the outside. Sunway pyramid can be confusing at times, especially when you don’t go there often. We spent a while looking for it and at last found it in front of a juice stand that I don’t know what it’s called. The moment we got into the restaurant, we were greeted by messy of welcome. Oh well, it’s the peak hour anyhow.

AMBIENCE 3
How it looks like from my point of view

We walked directly into the deepest part of the store as other places were pretty much occupied and luckily, we managed to fit the five of us in one table. At first glance, the restaurant was pretty crampy, to be honest. There weren’t a lot of spaces between each tables – you might even need to keep on letting people pass through you *awkwardly* – that is how narrow the pathways are.

AMBIENCE
Wall art – Wall E’s friend (jokes)

It was pretty neat, seats all covered with comfy cushions. Basically, everything in this little restaurant, from tiny details like their decorations or wall-design to their use of furniture simply radiates this Asian-feeling (no offense *raises both hands*). It’s this woody concept that they’re using that gives me this comfortable feeling, I guess? I personally like their wall art quite much as it looks just aesthetic to me, glowing in a vibrant yellow (I think??) – I mean, look at the waves, so curvy and so hypnotizing – doesn’t it just makes you wanna go to the beach? 😂😂😂

CHICKEN CHASHU RAMEN
*Uhhhhhmmmm* Dayum doesn’t it just looks tasty.

Messed around for a while before coming up with what to order – and what I had ordered is this Chicken Chashu Ramen. What showed up afterwards… WAS SATISFYING! Pretty glad that we came to the right place to dine in. Why so? First of all, we were immediately embraced by the fragrance of the soup as soon as the bowls of noodles were presented to us, and they were still lingering in the air! Their noodle’s texture was just right as well – bouncy and elastic; not too soft but not too hard either, it was slightly chewy. It absorbed some of the bone broth after being soaked in for a while, making it tastes even better. What went along with it were the black fungi and seaweeds with bits of sesames sprinkled on them, further enhancing the smell and taste and at the same time adding hints of freshness into the soup itself. The boiled egg here should be given some compliment as well, as it acts as a complementary to the other ingredients. It was perfectly-cooked, with moist still remaining in the yolk (But has the other half gone to?! 😡😡). Last but not least, *inserts nonexistent drum roll emoji* tadaa, the chashu. The chashu here pretty much comes from the Chinese word, 叉烧(Char Siew), I think? Japanese and Chinese have quite a lot of similarities when it comes to the way of its speech and use of words.  Now then, where did I stop? Yes, the charsiew! I mean chashu. Their chashu is made out of chicken, which means it’s pretty lean to eat. However, despite being lean, you can feel that it’s slightly greasy at the same time, making its texture a little bit more complex. You can taste that it was lightly smoked, with the edges of each chashu somewhat crispy.

In my opinion, the restaurant was pretty good, with a pretty wide variety of food choices from noodles to rice to bento. It’s pretty recommended for people that are either going by them own, in pairs or even going their with their whole family. Although they sell noodles as well, but they’re not “just another Jap food restaurant” that sells average food and managed to carve their own niche in this environment flooded with eateries.

After that, we’re obviously not full yet, despite the considerably above average portion of the noodles. Thus, we came up with the decision to go for desserts! *yayzers*

RATINGS

Food: 7/10
The food were really good, undoubtedly. Didn’t get to taste other stuff ’cause almost all of us picked the Chicken Chashu Ramen. Oh well.

Price: 4/10
It was really expensive. REALLY. I swear, it’s probably one of the more expensive restaurants that I’ve been to. It’s nearly 18 bucks, for a bowl of ramen whose portion was normal. Although I admit that the food is good, but it’s really considered pretty pricey for me, despite it being in the middle of a mall.

Service: 6/10
They do the simple greetings and stuff, but when you ask for help and stuff, they tend to delay a bit – I’m not sure if it’s because of it’s in the middle of lunch hour or what? They do come very quickly when you want to pay your bills though 😂😂

Ambience: 7/10
Not bad, I would say. Although being slightly cramped, it’s still a nice place to hang around and chat with your friends while having a nice meal of Japanese food.

**EXTRA NOTE
-This restaurant is definitely halal.
-You’ll get free refills for their green tea youh~ (cheapstake 🙈🙈🙈)
-It’s pretty crowded when it’s lunch hour, but besides that all is good.

Llao Llao

Woohoo, buy one free one, another blog post today!

BANNER
That’s how it looks like of Llao Llao from the outside. Look at the crowd

Llao Llao was already a pretty famous ice-cream brand among the youngsters and the urban-dwellers. It was viral on the internet as well. However, I didn’t get to try it out the other day when me and my other group of friends went to One Utama. So here we are!

Fun fact: Llao Llao is actually pronounced as "YaoYao" instead of "LaoLao".
This is 'cause it's from Spanish, and where there are double L in a word it
is read as "y" instead of "lele" Got corrected by five different persons on
Snapchat for pronouncing it as "LaoLao". TQ guize. 😒😒

This particular outlet was recently opened, on 28th of May in Sunway Pyramid this year – which sort of caused the long queue over here. You know, people likes new stuff. Sooo, the queue indeed was pretty long *faints* It took us approximately ten minutes time till it actually reached our turn, but it’s pretty much worth it~

AMBIENCE
Their menu is on the wall, so it’s pretty visible.

In my opinion, their way of ordering ice-cream is considered a bit confusing (well, to me), which you need to decide which the size, flavour of the yoghurt ice-cream, toppings as well as the sauces that you want to put on your ice-cream. We discussed for a while and picked Sanum, which was shared by four of us.

By the way, the term “Sanum” originates from Latin and it means healthy. You can as much as three types of fruits, two crunches and one sauce with Sanum, which is a pretty valid deal, imo.

TOPPINGS
Fruitilicious!

I swear I can live by just eating fruits everyday if my fruits were served like this – skinned and cut properly. We opted for some mangoes, strawberries and kiwis (if I’ve not remembered it wrongly) for the fruits and we picked crunch balls and Oreos for our crunches. The last step to end the whole process perfectly is to add in our desired sauce, dark chocolate hot sauce!

ICECREAMIE
Oh. My. God. Oh my god. No, just no.

Look at it! It looks really tasty, doesn’t it? In fact, I’m pretty glad that the taste itself matches what I’m expecting as well. Honestly, the portion of this Sanum isn’t that satisfying, and all of us legit had to snatch around to get a taste of it, but I loved it nonetheless! To begin with, the yoghurt ice-cream itself feels really exquisite – smooth and creamy at the same time. The taste of the skimmed-milk-made yoghurt ice-cream lingers in my mouth with a perfect sourness and sweetness that complements with each other perfectly, leaving in trails of subtle aroma of yoghurt ice-cream in every scoop. The toppings that were available complements with the ice-cream itself as well, I must say.

One thing that I like about Llao Llao is that you are given the choice to pick your own toppings – which I know some other stores will do that as well but – the worker will actually suggest you for the popular choices, which we gladly accepted his advice. The fruits and crunches tastes fresh, with tastes kiwis, strawberries and mangoes blending together with the tastes of the oreo and chocolate balls – further enhancing the whole complexity of the texture and biting, which gives you this exotic tropical feel – like you’re living on an island (but aren’t we already living on a tropical island HAHA). I loved how their dark chocolate sauce was hot, which it will harden on the surface of the ice-cream very quickly, while melting some of it. Each element of the ice-cream complements with each other, I’d say if not perfectly, but too, near it.

RATINGS

Food: 8/10
I loved their ice-cream so much! They have quality, and quantity (which by this I meant they have a wide array of different flavours and toppings for you to pick.) I think I will try out their salted caramel next time *chuckles*

Price: 4/10
It’s really expensive. No joke. Nearly eighteen bucks for a cup of ice-cream is sort of luxurious already, especially their portion isn’t that big after all.

Service: 6/10
Not bad, but not good either.

Ambience: 5/10
It’s crampy and stuffy inside, with the lights shining really brightly (like a diamond 💎💎). But I sort of like their minimalist interior design with a white and green theme. Honestly, I actually went into the the store just to take a picture of the ice-cream and that’s it. *malu*

V I: A get away to Sunway Lagoon – sunshines and beaches!

HIPSTUR
Ahaha while I’m still dressed properly

It’s been a while since the last time I renew my blog, my apologies! I figured that it would be a bit boring for people to keep looking at how delicious and heavenly the food that I’ve had, so I thought I ought to be twisting the thing that I’d be doing by a little today – and the moment I’ve had a thought like this, my friends from high school asked me if I would want to join them for a short getaway to Sunway Lagoon – purrfect!

There we go! Planned this short trip a while ago and it officially happened last week! So basically, this post will be a short review of SUNWAY LAGOON *yayzers* The last time I had been to Sunway Lagoon is when I’m in primary school? I have no idea. So basically visiting Sunway Lagoon once again is really something nostalgic for me. For your information, there’s this brand new themed land that has been recently opened (not really 😂): in the second of February this year. However, it doesn’t seem to me that it’s a really among our people. (I don’t know, maybe it’s more famous in some other countries?)

So what happened the other day: I had to wake up at six thirty in the morning *facepalmand wait for my friends to come and fetch me. There were five of us in total, squeezed in a Myvi (MALAYSIA BOLEH!). It took us quite a while as something happened – lost my key – and when we reached our destination, it was already eleven thirty. I still remembered it pretty clearly that day was the first day of school holidays, luckily it wasn’t really that crowded at that time I guess everyone’s still busy sleeping  😂😂.

There's five person among us so, yeah. Do the math thang. The rounded-up sum is
that each of us had to pay MYR90.

STRANGER 2
To be honest, I really don’t know this girl HAHA

But yeah, this is how it looks like in front of the ticket counter. Didn’t get to snap a picture of the counter as there were too many people.

STRANGER
Another stranger. I don’t know why I took so many pictures of random pedestrians.

Basically, after we’ve received our wristband ticket from the lady, we dashed our way into the theme park – not wanting to waste even a penny out of it. However, we decided to focus on just the fun parts only: Amusement Park, Water Park and the main attraction – Nickelodeon’s Lost Lagoon(the rest were considered lame by them oh well HAHA). We walked all the way from the entrance to the place where the lockers are in order to keep our stuff.

WATER PARK

There are quite a few restaurants around and they even have this little cafe that sells mille crepes in all sorts of flavours, but the price itself is fabulous enough ahaha, since it is a tourist spot. After Alex paid for the luggage space (which costs about MYR40 I think?), we dumped everything we had into the space (but I kept my phone and camera with me) and started heading to our first stop, the amusement park! We (mostly it’s because of me and Yiing Er HAHAHA) came to realize that due to the reason that we didn’t bring enough clothings to be changed, we had to finish playing all the facilities that doesn’t involve wetting yourselves, or else we’d have nothing to change already 🙈🙈

H I G H L I G H T S:

We first went to the Pirate’s Revenge, which was definitely the first thing that came into our sight. Just a look into the pirate ship is enough to make people who have acrophobia petrified and I swear, I am definitely not one of them 😂 Due to idk what reason (I think it’s ’cause  Alex is worried of safety issues HAHA), we walked away from it and went for Tomahawk instead. Electronic devices of all kinds, sunnies or even spectacles were prohibited on the ride, so I didn’t get to take any pictures on this, sadly. Before hopping on, I handed my phone to one of the kakak that was operating the machine and she was kind enough to help me Snapchat the whole process. The only thing that I can say about this ride is that: IT WAS AWESOME! I would legit take another ride on it if I could! To keep things simple, this monster will rotate 360 degrees, making a whole circle. It started off shaking to and forth gently and as time passed it eventually go further and somehow the whole ride will end up stuck on top and with you staring at the passer-by below you! I swear to god it was really scary and you can indeed feel how it is like to “defy gravity”, with half of your body floating in the air and the safety belt is the only thing protecting you from levitating. It was a helluva ride but I LOVED IT! One more thing I loved about this ride is that you get to see all sorts of people’s reaction: screaming for help; cursing their heads off; some of them even called out for help HAHA (forgive me for my evilness 😂😂).

SCREAAAAAM(ZOOM)
If you look closely into it, you can see me tidying my really messed up hair HAHA Credits to either WeiCheng or Alex for taking this picture!

So, we did went for the Pirate’s Revenge ride after all huehuehue. At first we wanted to go for the seats that were in front, but the Abang that was operating the machine told us to move to the back seats – which was 2X scarier for them 😂. In my opinion, this ride is slightly better than the Tomahawk. Although it goes 360 degrees as well, I feel a little bit better in this, compared to the previous ride. Maybe it’s because of the super duper tight safety belt that clamps my chest till it hurts (it might be ’cause I have a big chest 😂😂)? The pirate ship, too, rotates to and forth gently and gradually gets more and more aggressive – till the point where it swings so vigorously the whole ship stops itself either when it is at the top or at the bottom; with you either staring up into the clear, blue sky or down at the ground. For a moment it felt really like hell on earth lol, and when I stared into the front, there was this Indian uncle where his families were screaming like headless chickens and he was gazing at me – we smiled at each other helplessly 😂😂

After coming down from the pirate ship, Jessica, Yiing Er and I had to walk around with noodly legs. However, these small little hardships will never stop us from conquering the whole theme park! Off we go to the roller coaster 😂. We headed to the Lost City Scream Coaster to seek for more adventures and tortures. Honestly, it doesn’t look really scary from the outside and it’s not that exciting to me from the inside as well. It is just another roller coaster to me, nothing really impressive – the only highlight was the part when the roller coaster reached a tunnel in complete darkness; the only light sources were the flashes of cameras set up to capture the ugliest sides of us. Electronic devices were allowed in this ride but bring it at your own risk!

After that, we changed into our swimwear and went for an adventure in the water. I kept the camera as well, no pictures anymore 😪. I am having contact lens btw, Idek why I would even dare to go into water parks with them on at the first place.. The only notable facility (that I found fun over here) is the Vuvuzela, which is not even considered as a new ride, sadly. Basically what happened over there was the five of us screaming in the tube and got thrown over here and there by really rapid flow of water and everything ended up in a huge splash of water. IT WAS INDEED REAL FUN! *cowabunga* It is definitely one of the feature that I strongly recommend the thrill-seekers that are looking for something exciting to begin the park with. As for the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon, the Monsoon 360 has the potential to become one the very few of my favourite rides, but sadly the duration is just too short. The moment the trapdoor that I was stepping on was released, the whole process ended in approximately 30 seconds, and I am not even exaggerating. Overall, the whole “First Nickelodeon Themed Park in Asia” is just being overrated and a slight rip-off. It might be suitable for a young parents bringing their children for a holiday but it’s too kiddy for me (we’ve got a badass over here)*flips hair*

RATING

Price: 5/10
Even at its promotion price, the ticket is considerably expensive. I had to say that I didn’t expect it to be so costly for the theme parks like this *sobs* But there is a promotion that they are having on selected Tuesday where you can get entries for just MYR50! Buuut, things come at a price, go read the terms and conditions yourselves.

Excitement: 6/10
Honestly it was a slight disappointment – everything else besides the Tomahawk. The rides either have really short duration or not exciting enough for me (is it just me or did everyone find it kind of boring as well? Am I the only odd one?).

Service: 6/10
The staffs working around have pretty good services – cheerful attitudes and being helpful. However, I personally find it disturbing when some of the workers aggressively ask you to pose for pictures – which you can buy them at the counter if you feel like it. Although they didn’t literally force you for it, it kinda bugs me.

**EXTRA NOTE
-Come early to avoid long queues! Eleven is still fine, I guess.
-Remember to bring extra scandals and clothing in case you need to change.
-Don’t even think wear contact lens, it is really dangerous.
-Put on plenty of sun cream, you’ll definitely appreciate me for reminding you.
-Stay hydrated.
-Don’t let even your clothes go out of your sight!!!! 😭😭

Grand Finale : Tous le Jour Bistro

BANNER 2
Cafe Tous les Jours

Here comes the final piece of my food review from the other day, which marks the end of my #1 food hunt adventure. Flashback to what happened last week: we had our dinner – clay pot lou-shu-fun at SS 15. If it is the usual me, I’d never take anything in after my dinner, but today is a not a usual day (and we didn’t want to go home so early *covers face* 🙈). Thus, we had a round of discussion and decided to go for desserts!  (haven’t we been eating nothing else but ice-creams just now haha 😂😂). This time, they brought me to a Frenchish cafe which of course, I have never been to before as well. There are four different outlets of the same franchise brand in Malaysia and the one that we headed to was located at Empire shopping gallery in Subang Jaya, SS16, which Waze claimed would take roughly ten minutes. We ended up reaching there in 15 minutes ’cause CKL went to the wrong way HAHA.

Our destination is called Cafe Tous les Jours, which translates into “everyday” in English (maybe they’re open everyday? Or maybe they have fresh food everyday I have no idea man). I’ve researched a bit on this cafe and was a little surprised that this French cafe is actually franchise-owned by a group in Korea, which makes it sort of a fusion-themed cafe and they have franchises in most Asian countries and the United States *wowzers*. The entrance of the cafe was situated outside of the mall, which means we basically had to walk from the basement parking (whut) all the way outside and believe be it was a helluva long way *smh* However, the whole interior design of the shopping mall (and mostly the air-conditioner) makes up for the whole walking part. The mall indeed looked really gorgeous, with all the decors and paintings and statues and stuff (even the loo looked classy af lmao).

OUTER VIEW 2
There were seats in front of the entrance but it was deserted. Understandable ’cause who else wants to be exposed to the weather lol

I took my own sweet time to snap a few pictures and when I wanted to walk into the door, I found out :-

AUTHENTIC BAKERY 2
Two little girls modelling at the automatic door and nearly got squashed like a bug *smh*

Surprisingly, there was this seemingly to be a florist situated just right next to the bistro. Looking at the flowers (orchids were the only species available) blooming in orange and blue and salmon was a mesmerizing sight, especially for us – urban kids that rarely had chances to go out and to be exposed to the Earth-Mother. Upon stepping into the bakery, I scanned the whole surrounding of the store and found out that the whole layout was divided into several segments, which includes: the place where they prepare food and stuff (transparent glass, *ooh* ), the bakery itself where a wide array of pastries were available as well as the a path connected to the florist. Although the pastries looked pretty appealing, we directly walked to the counter where they had a long, rectangular fridge to display their CAKES ’cause we were way too full for pastries. My crave for cakes  always hit hard like a truck 😂 – and nothing’s gonna change my love for it. We immediately picked the one that WeiNee tasted before, which was Devil’s Cake.

CAKE MOU 2
For your information – how a Devil’s Cake look like. So gorgeous! *drools*

After we placed our order, which was not really a pleasant experience – as the staff looks sort of mad (not sure if it’s ’cause we took too long hesitating or what, or maybe he is a victim of RBF idk), we moved our steps to the real “cafe“, which was another space and legit had stairs.

HIPSTER CAKE 2
CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!

We chose a seat nearby the window and wanted to start enjoying our food. The beverages took quite some time to arrive, by the way. A action of spamming pictures of food like a maniac was unavoidable. After that session, we finally had a taste of how this Devil’s cake was like. As its name suggested, it tasted like Devil’s food: which literally meant if you happen to consume too much food like this you’d go and see the devil soon jk. Well, it tasted pretty good, in my humble opinion. Even a single nibble of it would leave insanely rich (and sweet) chocolate taste swirling round and round in your mouth. The cake’s texture wasn’t your usual soft and fluffy ones – the ones that I prefer. There were, too, pieces of chocolate clumps and, let’s not forget a shining macaron placed directly at the center of the heavenly slice. The chocolates went pretty well together with the cake but the thing I wanted to stress out here is the cute, brown little thing lying quietly on top of the cake. It was the bomb, I swear! Although I have sweet teeth, I don’t really fancy macarons as they would usually give me toothache out of the sweetness or I’d have ten sugar rushes from the sugar. However, this tiny piece of goodness from TLJ, made my eyes sparkle in delight. The minute I bit on it, instantaneously, the taste of chocolate came bursting in my mouth, alongside with another unexpected combination: Gula Melaka (palm sugar). I totally did not expect something that was so sugary can go along so well with chocolate – I guess they sort of cancel off each other’s flaws? But can you imagine the crunchiness of the macaron crust together with the texture of sugar layers in your mouth, it symphonized into a harmonious music score. I now know why it was called a Devil’s cake, maybe ’cause it is so good that it will be sinful to eat them aha.

CAKE AGAIN 2
Lambda Guava Nectar juice

The beverage that I ordered was this –  bottle of organic Lambda Guava Nectar juice. As its name suggests, it basically is fresh guava juice and Lambda is its brand. It tasted pretty fresh and authentic – like real guava juice that doesn’t contain any chemical flavouring and stuff. Not too sweet as well, exactly the way I like it to be. However, it is considered pretty costly as the volume of the juice wasn’t even close to big and it already costed nearly 10 bucks excluding GST.

RATINGS

Food: 6.5/10
I don’t really need to explain much here right, despite what I’ve written on top 😂

Price: 5/10
God everything here is so expensive I can legit feel my wallet thinning after we paid for our food! And when their food portion was small and pricey sobs. Why does all high end restaurants and cafes need to charge so much 😭😭? Luckily they don’t have service taxes lol.

Service: /10
N to the O. NO. Nope nope nope.

A man without a smiling face must not open a shop
-Chinese Proverb

Obviously this picture is not mine, credits to whoever it belongs to.

The picture on top translates into “customers are the ones to come first”. Seriously this should be the principle of every single shop lmao, not just F&B alright.

To be honest, I really cannot stand people facing me with a sour face, I mean, I am the customer – I didn’t pay to suffer. Sigh. I understand that MAYBE they are having a tough day as well but please show some professionalism alright. 😞

Ambience: 8/10
I loved the ambience here! It literally is the combination of modern and retro. Wait a minute.

BAR 2
The kitchen.

An open-spaced kitchen is something really challenging for eateries as it might turn out to be a huge catastrophe if it has not been maintained properly. Clearly, TLJ has nothing else to worry about it. I loved how the lamps were placed there, making the whole ambience glowing in an exotic feel. It is definitely an ideal place for couples to date or even a family gathering to be held here. Just imagine a pair of couple dating under an environment like this, under dusky lights like this; only one word could be used to describe a place like this: romantic.

100% 2
Surrounding

Look at the bricks on the walls that had been used – they remind me of my grandmother’s old house. It really gives of this retro ambience, like how the designs were in the older house where walls were built with only red bricks and cement and no other decorations – which is how I like it to be.

DINING ROOM 2
Looked like a conference room or something.

They have this little room that seemingly could be used to hold meetings or stuff. Look at these uncles having a discussion of I’m not really sure of what – or maybe they’re just gossiping. No comments 😂. But it is pretty good if you want to have a private moment or a place where it is quieter.

I will not tell you that this picture is taken secretly  😂

Episode 4 : Heaven in a clay pot

BANNER
Outer view.

The fourth out of five food adventure that we went onto the other day. This particular restaurant wasn’t located in Damansara; in fact, it was located in seksyen 15 of Petaling Jaya. Restoran Foh Foh, or you’d rather in English, Foh Foh restaurant, is definitely not your usual high end classy cafe or coffee shop. Are you surprised that we considered coming here for DINNER? Yeah dinner. Basically it’s ’cause WeiNee had cravings for the clay pot lou-shu-fun from this hawker centre, so we just hopped onto the car and ended up here. Most probably due to a cloudburst that occurred just now, the air around here seemed to be surprisingly cool and refreshing – it would be incredibly hot and stuffy around this area usually (I mean, in the middle of a city, right?). The sky was like a canvas painted with veils of orange and blue and purple: reminding people that it’s past noon and night is coming soon.

Fortunately, the outer view of the restaurant is one of the very few pictures that I had taken in this restaurant, well: there really isn’t much worth to be seen and looked at around the here. Foh Foh Restaurant is pretty obvious location wise as you can literally see it once you drove into the road (you might go to the optics if you didn’t 😂). Took a minute to snap a picture or two and I missed out the opportunity to witness which stall they even ordered from (which means I’m eating the food I don’t even know which stall it’s from *smh*).

FOOD
Yass clay pot lou-shu-fun!

The food arrived shortly: in about 10 minutes. We were busy playing our phones and when we glimpsed at the clay pots that were being served, our attentions instantly got drawn away from our devices (FOOD ALWAYS COMES FIRST!!). Basically, the clay pot silver needle noodle (lou-shu-fun) from this stall (forgive me for not knowing which stall it’s from, I am a failed food-reviewer I know 😂) just simply gives you this warm and fuzzy feeling in the tummy – the feeling when you got back home.

By the way, for those who are not familiar with what a lou-shu-fun is (which I believe most
Chinese knows about it), it literally is translated from Cantonese, which means rat's noodle.
DON'T PANIC PLEASE. DON'T CALL THE POLICE! I guess because the shape of the noodle is
similar to a rat's tail(?) - I can't even man. I've never even seen much rats in my entire life - how
do I even know how their tails look like 😂 But honestly, it is a kind of noodle, that is
made out of rice flour for sure! It's texture is one of my favourite among the noodle family,
as well!

There were anchovies, bean curd skin, a whole egg freshly cracked, vegetables *oh god, eek!* , minced meat and last but not least, the main character: the lou-shu-fun. Speaking bluntly, the clay pot lou-shu-fun here has nothing extraordinary – but it’s the ordinariness – what makes it special. I don’t know why, but it sort of brought me back to my childhood memories: the good old times where everyone sat together and enjoy food in endless cold nights. That was indeed some nostalgic moment for me. Anyways, this clay pot silver needle noodle has a pretty thick gravy; please let me confess that I don’t really like thick, blackish gravy or sauce as I had some really bad experience with it, however, this gravy that I tasted from this stall is not just plain savoury – you can easily taste a little sweetness and the freshness of it through the whole gravy blended together with the spices that has been used – and it did ended up pretty well together – not too salty, not too sweet, with a little spicy excitement from the pepper that they had added inside of the gravy. Together with the silver needle noodle that’s shining in pale translucent under the white fluorescent light, it was more than enough to make us drool.

EGG
Lol this animated GIF beautifies what people usually do HAHA

Can you see the freshly cracked egg that was located at the center of the whole clay pot? I’m not sure what other people will do to, but for me – definitely poke it off like the GIF on top (for some people please, don’t hit me *run away*). The ideal way of eating egg with noodles is to poke and break them, then stir them well together with everything, no? It will add in the aroma of the egg into the layers and layers of different taste and texture of the food itself! We dug in to our food instantly as we were starving from a long day of non-stop shopping (lol we spent some time in One-Utama shopping mall before coming over) and we were indeed, starving like helpless babies! Basically in my opinion, I think that the silver needle noodles were well cooked, the texture not too soggy and not too hard – bouncy and chewy in this case. And having them together with the crispy anchovies and fried bean-curd skin. Let’s not forget about the minced meat that had been pretty well seasoned and had a faint taste of sweetness in it despite being savoury, all of these entirely different tastes and textures partied delightfully: unravelling a brand new side of silver needle noodles, layer by layer, in this very mouth of mine. Voilà, indeed a satisfying meal!

RATINGS

Food: 7/10
Food wise, I gave it a 7 ’cause it deserves it. But any soup-based food, or any kind of food will taste good if you eat it instantly right HAHA. Am I overrating it or what 😂

 Price: 6/10
I think RM6.50 is a pretty reasonable price for hawker stall’s food that is situated in the city of Petaling Jaya, I guess? Especially when the portion isn’t as small as you imagined it would be like, as the clay pot is nearly fully filled with gravies and noodles and the other ingredients. However, there are always cheaper and better options though.

Service: 6/10
The guy (we’re not really sure whether if he is the owner of stall or if he’s just the son of the owner or whatever) is pretty friendly. The kakak working for them is pretty friendly as well, but nothing really notable.

Ambience: 4/10
Please don’t come here expecting for grand interior designs and magnifique sculptures or beautiful decorations and stuff, alright? The answer’s no. *Inserts No – Meghan Trainor* As this is a hawker centre, its ambience can’t really be compared with the cafes and stuff. Well, this is its own uniqueness I guess? Being crowded and the whole noisiness is a part of the hawker centre culture HAHA. However, the washroom here really is, a bit of an eyesore. I can’t really stand washrooms that are stinks too much or looks really horrifying. It needs more than just a scrub, okay?

**EXTRA NOTE
-This cuisine is NOT halal, please be aware of that.
-Parking slots are incredibly difficult to be found, as usual. Problems faced by people living in urban areas *smh*

Episode 3 : Go soft or go home!

The long awaited answer (not really) – Softsrve! For those who had your answers right, please give yourself a round of applause *cheers!*

Round of applause.gif
Yay, a round of applause! Lol, geddit? HAHAHA

We walked from Tsujiri to Softsrve in order to try out their famous soft ice-cream – REALLY REALLY FAMOUS soft ice-cream (but we just had ice-cream right whut 😂). It took us about 6 minutes walking distance from the spot and indeed helped to digest the food that filled up our tummy away for more spaces (walk more people bwahaha).

BANNER
Not really sure why the uncle tilted or what he is staring at but HAHAHA.

There you go, a picture of Softsrve’s outer view. I found out that most of the banners nowadays follow this trend where they design their banners with very simple and minimal lines and colours – mostly black and white. Softsrve is not an exception from this trend as well, clearly: with white background and black alphabets printed clearly on the sign – easily seen.

Before pushing into the door and step inside of the store, we saw a bunch of customers; basically a bunch of friends (I guess?), middle-aged men and women chilling outside (I don’t really know why they prefer to be outside ’cause it’s really, really hot), and the man tilting his head HAHA.

A little off-track story first before I forget about it HAHA: so at first we hesitated to whether visit Miru Cafe or Softsrve; but well, we saw some pictures on the internet that vaguely shows the picture of the ice-cream and we thought they had Godiva on it – ended up going to Softsrve, thus this post. By the way, the things that we thought were Godiva were actually cubes of chocolate truffles!!! What on earth!? 😂

After ordering our desired ice-cream (we settled down for Deep Chocolate with chocolate truffles and chocolate sauce) – which as usual – was a huge hassle, I went around taking pictures and exploring this famous ice-cream shop inside out. To be honest, Softsrve has a pretty neat and minimal design at first glance, with a Japanese-home-style design. Most of their decorations were made out of wood or painted in the wooden colour. The whole place just screams of chilly ambience – perfect place for you to sit and chit-chat with your friends for hours and hours (but please don’t anyways HAHA).

DECOR
Signature wall lol.

Take a good look at the picture on top; a word can simply describe it – hipster! This place is flooded with hipsterness! You can basically walk in and start taking tonnes of pictures to stock up on your pictures for your Instagram feed! “Go soft or go home” – the tagline of softsrve, which sort of described their specialty. As their name suggested, they have some really good soft ice-creams! I must indeed give the designer (if they did have one) of Softsrve a shout-out ’cause the whole arrangements – from the furniture to the decorations on walls or even the textiles used on the floor were planned carefully to give this relaxed, homie feeling.

WERK
The worker was washing up stuff not sure what it is.

So there were three staffs working (I don’t know if there were more or less) when we were there – two of them were around my age and one was probably at her mid twenties. I approached them and asked if I could snap a few pictures of them; the one that seemed to be the eldest among them was startled and ran away whilst pointing at the girl in the picture – implying that she didn’t want to go on screen. I guess the girl agreed for me to take a picture of her? She looked pretty confused though HAHA. They were pretty helpful and friendly!

ICECREAM
Deep Chocolate ice-cream with chocolate truffles and chocolate sauce.

Holy moly. Just a look into the picture made my sweet teeth (it’s not just tooth okay) tingling. The ice-cream was prepared shortly after we’ve placed in our orders; as all of the ice-creams were prepared freshly by them on the spot. Since we ordered Deep Chocolate with chocolate truffles and chocolate sauce, it was presented after a while. A look on this famous hipster ice-cream was already enough to make us scream. Mist and fog in white slowly leaked out of the cup like mountains shrouded by seas of clouds; adding in hints of mysteriousness and elegance to the ice-cream – making it look like a beautiful maiden from the highlands: startled by strangers, hiding in the woods. It was due to the dry ice that was prepared by them – they were pretty thoughtful – not wanting their customers (especially people like us) to taste their ice-creams that weren’t at the best of condition – therefore, they came up with the strategy to have dry ice under the cup of the ice-cream; thus, extending the availability and freshness of the ice-creams! From the angle of taste, something notable was that their chocolate ice-cream weren’t as sweet as their competitors – perfectly balanced flavour, each mouthful of ice-cream will fill up your mouth with the sweet and rich chocolate taste before melting entirely into puddles of chocolate liquid in my mouth. The ice-cream was smooth as silk, each scoop of them, I swear! Happily, we indulged ourselves in the goodness of creamy and smooth chocolate-flavoured soft ice cream while not forgetting the pieces of chocolate truffles they had on their ice-cream that was an amazing complementary add-on towards their ice-cream – the chewy and malty; yet luscious and aromatic chocolate truffles paired up with their creamy ice-cream. Hou la la, what more can you expect from them? It seemed to me that they made the chocolate truffles by themselves, which explains why it didn’t taste as sweet and artificial as the ones that they were selling at the markets outside (and chocolate tuffles aren’t chocolate coated mushrooms please don’t get the wrong idea as I did HAHA). They put in only three pieces of chocolate truffles in for everyone (I did observe what they’ve been doing for quite a while HAHA 🙊). Apparently the founder of Softsrve had picked and carefully planned everything out – addition or subtraction of any kind will end up as an utter disruption towards this delicious golden ratio.

RATINGS

Food: 8/10
Aye aye aye what are you expecting from one of the most famous ice-cream outlet in Malaysia? Their ice-creams deserve a place in the Ice-cream world haha! I would come back to try out other flavours for sure, as well.

Price: 6/10
Honestly, the portion of each serving isn’t that big. So if you’re judging by portion wise, it definitely is at the pricey side. However, its taste and ambience and all makes up for it all I guess; you can share it with another person if you don’t want to spend so much *snaps fingers*.

Service: 8/10
The service here was not half bad at all – you think that they would be really slow but in fact, there was three staffs over there and they were pretty swift in action. Food were served in short moment and the staffs were polite as well. Another thing that caught my attention was that they actually DID clean their tables with detergent after every customer leave their seats. *ding ding increases impression mark*

Ambience: 8/10
Although it might not be considerably spacey as according to the numbers of customers on that day, the whole environment of the store is worth to be mentioned. If you were to be looking for some place that’s leisure enough for you to chill and escape from – I don’t know – stress maybe? Or from the weather itself – this place is recommended for you to pay a visit.

**Extra Note
-Your ice-cream’s toppings are fixed. You cannot add more things into them as you desire, do take note about it! You can, however, choose something that is plain, and nude lol
-They have lots of flavours available you don’t really need to stick to the one kind that you try out every time – life is an adventure!
-I believe that this place will look relatively more beautiful at night due to the lighting and stuff.
-There is a construction site near here just so you know, you can take #POTD and #OOTD shots there, please don’t let them catch you sneaking in anyways *HAHA*

A sneak peek of what I will be posting soon huehuehue. I’m not really a good artist but I tried my best – can you guess ice-cream of which brand am I drawing in this picture? I’m pretty sure those who had tried this particular brand before would definitely know the answer! Leave your answers in the comment box, the ones who get right it won’t receive prices of any kind.

Till next time! Toodles!
